A Lucky 15 bet is 15 bets on 4 different selections consisting of:
- 4 singles;
- 6 doubles;
- 4 trebles;
- 1 four-fold multiple.
Since one Lucky 15 wager equates to 15 bets, you are required to stake 15 units per 1 unit bet. For example, a $100 win-only Lucky 15 bet would cost $1,500.
The amount you win from a Lucky 15 depends on how many of these 15 bets win. You get a return even if just one of the singles wins, however, it’s unlikely that this will return more than your original investment.
Let’s run through an example.
Here are four moneyline selections we are going to bet on:
Our Lucky 15 would look like this:
People like to use the Lucky 15 because, unlike standard accumulators/multiples, you don’t need all the selections to win in order to get a return on your investment.
The bigger your stake, the larger your potential payout.
However, Lucky 15 does require you to invest 15 units each time you use it. If you use a bankroll management plan (as you should with all your sports betting strategies) this will take a huge chunk out of it.
How To Calculate Lucky 15 Payouts
The payouts are calculated based on how many of the four selections win.
So, based on $100 bets and using the odds from the above example, our potential payouts are as follows:
- Phillies +170: $270
- Orioles +170: $270
- Marlins +115: $215
- Rockies +145: $245
- Phillies +170 and Orioles +170: $729
- Phillies +170 and Marlins +115: $580.50
- Phillies +170 and Rockies +145: $661.50
- Orioles +170 and Marlins +115: $580.50
- Orioles +170 and Rockies +145: $661.50
- Marlins +115 and Rockies +145: $526.75
- Phillies +170, Orioles +170 and Marlins +115: $1,567.35
- Phillies +170, Orioles +170 and Rockies +145: $1,786.05
- Phillies +170, Marlins +115 and Rockies +145: $1,422.23
- Orioles +170, Marlins +115 and Rockies +145: $1,422.23
- Phillies +170, Orioles +170, Marlins +115 and Rockies +145: $3,840.01
If all selections win, the total payout would be $14,177.62.

Similarly to a trixie bet, we tend to not use the Lucky 15 as part of our sports betting strategies.
Our edge comes from betting singles as it’s much easier to control.
While Lucky 15 can be fun to bet, it should be avoided when trying to make serious money from sports betting.
The Lucky 15 bet consists of four singles, six doubles, four trebles and a four-fold multiple.
Ensure that you are confident in your selections so you have a better return on your money without having all selections win.
